When Alice encounters a talking white rabbit, whose favourite refrain is "I'm Late, I'm Late", and follows him down a rabbit hole, she finds herself in Wonderland.

As she searches for the rabbit, she meets a fascinating array of weird and colourful characters, including: the temperamental Queen of Hearts, whose favourite cry is "Off with his head"; the royal cook who's rather too liberal with the pepper and too fond of the cooking sherry; the Mad Hatter, who is quite simply off his head, who along with the March Hare, who is also quite insane, and the Doormouse, who sleeps in a teapot, inhabits a place where it's forever tea-time; the quarrelling identical twins Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, who talk in riddles.

Cuthbert the hippy, dope-smoking caterpillar; the ever-late White Rabbit; the Dodo, a pompous but wise bird, who's so old he's extinct; the cry-baby Mock Turtle and his old school pal the Gryphon; a Cheshire Cat who grins from ear to ear, and has no body; and many more.

Did the Knave of Hearts really steal the Queens tarts? And if so, why? What is the cause of the Queen's bad temper? Was Alice able to uncover the truth and save the day, or was it "Off with her head" too?
