No, it wasn't a new Channel 4 drama, nor the latest Quentin Tarantino film. It was actually a production of a children's fairy story, the latest pantomime presented by The Concorde Players, "Jack and the Beanstalk".
It was the usual colourful, all-singing, all-dancing, thigh slapping, sing-along, slapstick, rib tickling, "He's behind you", "Oh no he isn't", laughs aplenty fun for kids from three to a hundred and three.
